This workshop is for you if you:
1) Feel overwhelmed or frozen around something you know you need to do. Examples: initiating a tricky conversation with a friend, boss or partner; going somewhere new; applying for a job; making a scary phone call; asking for a promotion; telling someone that you can't do something they've asked you to do; clearing a part of your house.
2) You KNOW you are self-sabotaging but can't get past a block.
3) Have lots of negative thoughts or emotions when you think about doing 'the thing' e.g. being an imposter, messing up, feeling anxious or guilty.
In this workshop we will:
🌟 Introduce you to EMDR tapping so you can use this to calm down when your stress is causing you to chase your tail.
🌟Use an EMDR technique to supercharge your self-confidence.
🌟Identify and overcome the mental block that's keeping you frozen right now using another EMDR technique.
By the end of the workshop you will have a tool you can use whenever you need to boost your self-confidence and should feel able to move forward with something you've been putting off.
FAQs:
Q: Will I have to talk during the workshop?
A: No, you you will be guided through techniques by Claire. You will have an opportunity to ask her questions should you wish to using the chatbox or coming off mute if appropriate but she will not be picking on anyone or expecting you to talk.
Q: Do I have to have my camera on?
A: No! If you can manage it on then I love to see faces when I'm giving workshops but if this is a barrier to coming live then I'd prefer you came and had it off.
Q: Will I need anything special to attend?
A: A notepad would be of help and headphones to support with tuning in fully to the techniques. Also a quiet space where you will not be interrupted. We will be using the butterfly hug for the tapping part so being handsfree during the workshop is important.
Q: Is it suitable for everyone?
A: This workshop is not suitable for you at the moment if you have current active symptoms that are consistent with a diagnosis of C-PTSD, BPD, EUPD or Dissociative Disorders. If you would like to talk to Claire about this in advance please email her at info@drclaireplumbly.com
You need to be over 18 to attend and able to keep yourself safe, so not be in crisis 9at risk of harming yourself or others or using substances to manage you mood) or in need of high level psychological support.
You will be asked to think of a topic that's bothering you somewhat, but are advised not to choose a topic that is too emotive or links to past traumas.

Q: Is there a recording?
A: Yes, available for one month.
Q: Do I need to attend live?
A: No, you can attend the replay. The session will be made easy to follow along for anyone who cannot attend live, although you will not be able to ask me questions as you can during the live session.
Q: Are there refunds?
A: Not after the event. You can request a refund up to 24 hours before the workshop. Please email info@drclaireplumbly.com to arrange this. There will be a small admin fee of £2 to process this.
